Terms and Conditions
1. Service Schedule & Pickup Requirements
Rescue Disposal provides residential and commercial trash pickup services on an agreed-upon schedule. Customers are responsible for ensuring trash is placed in the designated pickup area the night before or by 5:00 a.m. on their pickup day to avoid missed collections.
We provide a pickup day, not a specific time. As routes grow or unforeseen circumstances arise (such as weather, traffic, or mechanical delays), pickup times may vary.
Designated Pickup Location Requirement (Bins/Carts)
- Bins/carts must be located at the designated pickup spot for collection every pickup.
- If an account has multiple bins/carts, all bins/carts must be placed together at the same designated pickup location.
- Bins/carts may not be separated across different addresses or pickup points (for example, one bin at one address and another bin at a different address).
2. Payments & Billing
- Invoices are automatically sent 21 days before the due date for the monthly cycle.
- Payments must be made on time according to your selected plan.
- A $10 late fee applies to invoices more than 7 days overdue.
- Accounts 14 days overdue will have service temporarily suspended until payment is received.
- After 21 days overdue, carts may be removed, and your account may be canceled.
- If your cart is removed and payment is later made, a $25 reinstatement fee applies before service resumes.
- You must notify Rescue Disposal directly if you wish to cancel or pause your service. Accounts not canceled in writing will continue to be billed.
3. 96-Gallon Carts
Rescue Disposal provides a 96-gallon cart for each active account. These carts remain the property of Rescue Disposal at all times.
If you move and take the cart, fail to pay, or if the cart is damaged and cannot be recovered, you will be billed for the full replacement cost of the cart at its current value.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Acceptable Waste Only: Only typical household/commercial bagged trash is accepted.
-
Prohibited Materials: Do not place any of the following in Rescue Disposal carts/bins or set out for collection:
- Hazardous waste or chemicals
- Paint of any kind (including wet paint, dried paint cans, stains, solvents, etc.)
- Large appliances, e-waste, or prohibited items
- Animal feces
- Dead animals
- Accessibility: Bins/carts must be accessible on pickup days (not blocked by vehicles, construction materials, snow/ice, or other obstructions).
- Placement Consistency: Bins/carts must be placed at the designated spot for pickup every time, and multiple bins/carts must remain together at the same pickup location (not split across addresses).
- Service Changes: Customers must notify Rescue Disposal in advance of any service changes.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Customers may cancel services at any time with prior notice.
- Refunds are issued only for prepaid services that have not yet been rendered.
- Failure to notify us of service cancellation will result in continued billing until formal notice is received.
6. Limitation of Liability
Rescue Disposal is not responsible for damages due to improper waste disposal, delays caused by weather or unforeseen circumstances, or customer non-compliance with service guidelines.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
Your personal information is protected as outlined in our Privacy Notice. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as necessary to provide services.
